Is Classico Sundried Tomato Alfredo Sauce safe with the recall on tomatoes?
Q. We were going to make pasta for dinner. Think this will be safe to use still? It has tomatoes in it, but I am unsure if they are affected by the recall. Thank you!
Asked by SecretID113466 - Sun Jun 15 22:03:30 2008 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Yes it's safe. 1st off that was jarred months ago( way before the recall). Secondly it was pasteurized which means it was heated above 145F( high enough to kill the Salmonella bacteria). Enjoy! It's purr-fectly safe.
